Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been able to blog in a while. My kids have had some physical problems and I have BEEN VERY BUSY!! The first weeks of school are going well. Anna seems to be adapting pretty good. Hannah enjoys it. Patience wants to do what big sisters are doing. My nephew Addison is growing fast. Amanda said that he is now sleeping about 8 hours before waking up!! I know that has been a blessing to her. (The picture is their first day of homeschool)
The Lord has been really showing me a lot lately. I am so thankful when the Lord speaks to me. I was sweeping the kitchen the other day (in the dark)(Well, not all the way in the dark) I didn't have the big light on just the light from the other room. I finished sweeping and thought I got all of the dirt swept away. Then, I turned on the light in the kitchen, boy was I wrong! I saw dirt everywhere! Then the Lord spoke to me and said, "Isn't amazing The more light I give you in my word, the more that you realize how much "Dirt" there is in your life. Simple, but profound! I am thankful for the Light he has given me and for the preachers that weren't afraid to preach the truth to me! Because of that, I can see more "dirt" in my life and can "sweep" it away. Very good thought Sis!! I missed reading a post from you. I figured you must be busy with school or you would have been on here. I haven't been as faithful either since I've been sick the past two weeks. I haven't been this sick in years!! And I sure dont' want to be again any time soon if at all.
You bring out a good thought about the dirt in our lives. I'm so thankful for the Word of God and the preaching of it that God uses to shine light on the dirty areas in my life. And if we're not careful we will get cobwebs in our life too. That is another post isn't it....hmmm...that gives me an idea. I think I'll be studying on that one!! Love you!!!
