Thanks for all of the prayers. My sister is going to go home today. Her blood pressure is looking better. The baby has a little bit of juandice, but praise God both of them are doing well. Thanks for all of the support and encouragement. If we spent as much time encouraging each other as we do discouraging and talking about one another we could get something accomplished for the Lord! I thank God for his blessings!
I found this devotional in a book that I got a the camp last month. The book was entitled "Think on these things". It was made by the ladies of the Bright Light Baptist Church in North Carolina. It has been a blessing and enjoyment to read.
A MOTHER'S POWER
Let mother's labor to make home the happiest place in the world. If they are always nagging and grumbling they will lose their hold on their children, and the boys will be tempted to spend their evenings away from home. Home is the best place for boys and men, and a good mother is the soul of the home. The smile of a mother's face has enticed many into the right path, and the fear of bringing a tear into her eye has called off many a man from evil ways. The boy may have a heart of iron, but his mother can hold him like a magnet. The devil never reckons a man to be lost so long as he has a good mother alive. Great is thy power, O woman! See to it that it be used for Him who thought of His mother even in the agonies of death.

Great news about Sis. Amanda going home today!! I know she must be so excited to get home with the baby and for them all to be a family together. Thank you for that little excerpt you wrote. That is so true about the mom being the heart of the home. The old saying is so true "If momma ain't happy...ain't nobody happy!!" I know when I'm having my hormonal mood swings that it puts the spirit of the home in a bit of turmoil. Alot rests on us ladies in keeping peace and harmony in the home. We can definitely see the effects of OUR attitudes on the lives of our children!!
