God's Protection

"For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God , above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth." Psalm 108:4-5
Hello! I hope everyone is well today! I just wanted to publicly thank God for his protection. Last night we were driving down the interstate and out of no where we heard a bang! We thought our tire has busted, so we pulled over to find that a thick, plastic bag had wrapped up in our drive shaft. I was a little nervous, but God watched over us! My brother-in-law had to bring a knife and cut it off, but thank God no one got hurt. That made me thank of all the times God has protected us. How many times have you been delayed for some reason (at the time it made you upset)only to find that if you had been a few minutes earlier something really bad would have happened. I thank the Lord for his protection! "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"

Oh Sis!! There have been countless times I know God has protected us. One that stands out in my mind is the time Kristina and I went to Union City to get supper at Sonic. First it took forever to get our order then when we pulled out of the parking lot I thought I better pull over and check the order. So we pulled into NTB to check it. We went through everything and found that everything was in there. My main concern was my onion rings!! I love their onion rings. Anyway...we got back on the road and got to Fairburn only to see smoke in the air. We ended up going right by a wreck that had JUST happened. Had it not been for those onion rings we would more than likely had been in that wreck. It was a bad wreck too. I immediately praised the Lord and before I could get it out of my mouth Kristina spoke up and said had it not been for me worrying about my onion rings and pulling over to check them that it could have been us in that wreck. Thank God that even our children realize when God has protected us. Good post Sis...and I'm glad y'all were okay after that happened!
