weekend
We had a great weekend. I had a date with Jim on Saturday. We went Fishing! Saturday night the bible fair went great! I have to admit, i was scared too death! I do fine talking to people one on one, but sometimes i get nervous in front of people.
The Lord really taught me alot on Saturday. As I was trying to catch a fish, I begin to think about the similarity between catching fish and catching "men" (being a fisher of men).
1. You have to be patience or you will give up too easy
2. Sometimes they cross your path when you least expect it
3. Sometimes when you finally get it, they struggle against you
4. There are fish everywhere, you just got now where to find them
5. We need to have something they want to come after ("bait"= good testimony, letting Jesus shine in your life) so they can be caught. A fish is not going to just come to the hook, they want something to satisfy them
I don't know about you, but this helped my soul! I hope you have a wonderful day! Don't give up on "FISHING!"

That was such a blessing Sis!! Isn't it wonderful when you can go out on a adventurous day of activities and God give you something to spiritually apply to the day. I love what God showed you. I'm glad you and Bro. Jim got to go off together. And fishing??...what fun!!! I love to fish!!

Oh yeah...and a Georgia fan eh?? Go Dawgs!! LOL!! I don't really watch them but I love their colors. The red, black and white are what I love!!

And your comparrasion between fishing and telling people about Jesus was GREAT!! That was a blessing!! :)
